Team and individual portraits for Prässi

“I asked Petteri for a quote for individual and group photographs of the Prässi teams I coach, and I had different themes in mind for them.

The team photo day matters to Prässi and to the team members, because before the shoot every one of them had trained to a plan for a year, and prepared for the day by dressing to the theme and visiting the hairdresser and the make-up artist.

At Petteri's suggestion we built the team pictures out of separate individual shots, which meant every team member got a good pose and a good expression. Petteri and I also looked at backgrounds for two of the images, which he went and photographed in advance in Liminka.

Petteri gave this job real professional care, and I felt he carried it out beautifully while also listening to my own ideas about the shoot and the themes.

The shooting day itself went well. There were a lot of people to photograph, but Petteri managed to build a relaxed atmosphere in which we got several good pictures of everyone.

Team and individual pictures for Prässi gym

I photographed individual and group pictures of the coaching teams at Prässi gym in Liminka.

I photographed each person for the group pictures one at a time against a white studio backdrop, then built the group shot from those individual frames by compositing them onto a landscape background photographed earlier (the jungle background was bought from a stock library).
